I decide to call this little bird and trout knife the "sharptail" because it is tough yet classy. The three inch blade is made from Damascus (15N20 steel layered with 1095)  with a classy tapered tang to help with balance. The handle scales are made from Shiras Moose antler with red fiberglass liners to set them off. To complete this beautiful specimen are three mosaic handle pins. This knife is 7 7/8th inches in total length.

While intended as light and nimble bird and trout knife, the sharptail would be perfectly useful during the off-season pulling double duty as a paring knife for light kitchen chores that require a scalpel instead of cleaver. This knife comes with a simple black leather sheath to protect its razor sharp edge during transport.
